IRINA TRUMPELE member of Latvian Artists Union since 2008. Since 2012 he has running watercolor, painting and ebru studio. “35 years I am developing my self-cognition through painting. This is a primal and fundamental desire of my being. But most of all I am interested in the spiritual aspect of art. Personal growth is the key factor of my professional progress. By means of Eastern philosophy and way of life I try to interpret our existence. Obviously, it is reflected in my paintings. I prefer to work in watercolors or oil and acryl on canvas. I prefer painting real people and sceneries, that’s why I often travel around Latvia, India, Greece and Turkey. “In my opinion, works of Irina Trumepel are deeply intellectual. I also feel spiritual search over attempt to understand Eastern philosophy from European prospective, and I think she has succeeded in that. In Riga painter Irina Trumepel usually exhibits landscapes, made in different techniques (watercolors, oil and acryl on canvas).
